It’s a big summer for us here at Palmer Media. In addition to launching this newsletter, we’ve got our new podcast series called Welcome to the Future (of Work) dropping on Fridays all summer. Our next episode features Jeff Gothelf talking about his recent book Forever Employable: How to Stop Looking for Work and Let Your Next Job Find You. Jeff explains what he learned from joining a rock band as a lad before getting involved in UX and Product Management and never looking back. Jeff expounds on the roles teachers can play in the creator economy. He also talks about the importance of planting your flag. It’s a relevant and pragmatic conversation you won’t want to miss.
Meanwhile as our flagship Trending in Ed feed approaches its 500th episode, we just released episode #486 of Trending in Ed on Playful Learning and LEGO fresh off a successful excursion to Legoland in Goshen, NY. We also include some sound from our latest episode of Running It Back #49 with Tarlin Ray and Mike Palmer looking for lessons learned from the 50th ann’y of Title IX and the Overturning of Roe v. Wade.
We have a lot on the horizon heading into the summer with new episodes of Trending in Ed and Welcome to the Future (of Work) dropping weekly. We’re also cultivating our 50th episode of Running It Back which should launch later this month.
And all of this as we gear up for our 500th installment of Trending in Ed due out heading into the Fall.
